Decarboniser is a readily dissolvable powder. Suitable for cleaning of cooking equipment, utensils including aluminum items. For best results soak these items overnight in the soaking tank.
Directions: Preclean items to remove residual grease, oil and food soiling. Avoid stacking pots and pans within one another, ideally do smaller loads at a time. Add 100 litres of fresh water to the tank and allow 30min for the tank to preheat the water. Add 1x 4.5 kg pottle of Decarboniser to heated water and stir until dissolved. It is best to soak items overnight. Add soiled equipment for soaking - times will vary depending on soiling levels. Remove items from soak tank the next morning, using the two handles on the inside of the tank to raise the tray up out of the water to gain access to the soaking items. Wash items in a sink using a manual sink detergent to remove any residual product. Scrub with a non-abrasive scrub pad or a nylon scrub brush if necessary. Rinse items well and allow to air dry. Depending on the level of soiling, the same solution can be used repeatedly, for heavy soiling we suggest changing the solution within 10 days or for light soiling replace within 30 days. Dilution ratio: Add 1x 4.5kg to roughly 100 litres of water, or for larger items 2x 4.5kg Decarboniser to 200 litres of water. Once you have completed all your cleaning, please empty the tank into a waste drain and rinse thoroughly before collection/return to CSL.
